Pascale Roussel ( University of Sanctuary Facilitator) and other members of staff from the Centre for International Training and Education (CITE) at the University of Leicester are organising a fun fundraising auction event.
The event will be on the evening of August 20th via Zoom and will offer people the opportunity to bid for goods and services (Art works, language or cookery lessons, meals at local restaurants etc. ) and the funds collected will be split between supporting people seeking sanctuary studying at the University and an education project supporting refugees in Greece. Please also come along to the event and encourage friends and family members to come too. It is free to register via Eventbrite but of course we would welcome any small donations are welcome at the gofundme account. If you can’t come, you can still bid or make a donation.

The last few months have been difficult for everyone but you can help make a real difference to those stuck in camps and on the streets of Greece as well as the people seeking sanctuary who are studying at the University.
